Visar Umer: Agim Veliu created the village-city division, villager named second-hand citizen

At the VVA gathering in Besia, Chairman Wissar Ymer has stressed that governance in this municipality has created the village-city division and villager is named second-hand citizen.

“The village-city division is the result of different levels of development. More basic public services are also lacking in the village. The village today is not separate from the city because agriculture and livestock develops, but precisely because they are not the priorities of power, the central one, or the local one. The city-life division in Kosovo is the division between an administrative and commercial centre, despite the lack of production and development that produces unemployment. Uneven development is inequality in the way of living, therefore housing food, schooling, and treatment are different”, Ymer said during this gathering.

On the other hand, Ymer has said that trying to improve life in the village, as in the city, as in different neighbourhoods of the city, is an attempt at equality among citizens, suggesting that the municipality run by the Aye Potter will produce strategic policies for agriculture development and livestock.

“Objection towards production; towards cooperation among farmers; towards investment in technology; and, growing processing capacities, lowers costs, increases production; and thus increases employment. The distribution of capital even in rural areas through agricultural modernisation stimulates and accelerates the urbanisation process of the village”, Ymer also said, adding that the Bessiana municipality has remained quite intact over the years.
