Last Friday, the Health Ministry has ordered that the gas supply (N20) be stopped for the entire Kosovo Clinical and Hospital Service. This gas is currently not being used in private institutions either. This results from the three suspicious deaths that took place at CKUK on September 7 of this year, which allegedly resulted in precisely oxidul gas.

In all of this situation, the Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service has announced an invitation to supply with this kind of medical gas. But it is still not known when the QKUK will be supplied with this type of gas.

This information for the Journal Express has been provided by the office of the general director of SKKKUK, Curr Gjocaj.

“We are expecting companies interested to conduct negotiations under the negotiated legal procedure and we will contract that company, which will have the best offer as defined by legal procedures for these cases”, the statement said.

From this health institution, they suggest that all interested companies operating in Kosovo can participate in the tender, and that meet the initial criterion of possession of the license as the Pharmacotic Depo. But it is pointed out that this time the condition for gas supply is for the same to be produced or used in European Union countries.

“In this situation, USKKUK has announced an invitation to all interested companies operating in Kosovo and meeting the initial criterion of possession of the license such as the Pharmaceutic Depo, and then to bring us to the SHSKUK, the product cegascinal product from foreign companies that either produce that product in one of the EU countries or import it or the same product used in any of the EU countries”, it is said to respond to the office of the director.

In addition, USKKUK has directed relevant professional and technical services to use any alternative method of anesthesia, but not oxidul gas until contract signing with the new supplier.

Meanwhile, gas supply oxidul with the company “Bubeari” except QKUK has also had Gjilan and Gjakova hospital. Meanwhile, hospitals, such as those general in Pec, Prizren, Mitrovica, Vushtrri and Ferizaj, have had contracts with the other company that supplies this type of gas to “Messer”.

SHSKUK: The Court of Tennders with Executive Decision forced QKUK to link the contract to “Bubeari” of the Kachanic

And while investigative bodies, such as the Prosecutor, Police and the other side of the Health Inspectorate, are investigating the causes that have led to the deaths of three patients in the CQU, on September 7th of this year, USKUK officials say it was the Political Procuremental Organisation, the one who imposed it. QKUK to link the contract with the already suspected gas production company, “Bubeari”.

In response to the Express, Director Curr Jocaj has stated that the Tender Court had overturned the contract with the company “Masser”, which the KKUK has linked for supply with this type of gas.

“QKUK has declared the operator Messerı as winner or responsible, while the Public Procureing Organization, or the Tender Court, has imposed executive rulings. The QKUK has not to link the contract to the Messerı deal we had declared the winner, but has declared the company Bubeari's company by Kacanik, which is already known for opinion and is being investigated for the oxidated gas (N20)”, says director Jocaj.

Although justice agencies say they are working on this case, officials from the Law Medicine Institute say there is still nothing concrete about the results of autopsy tests, done weeks ago, for three people who allegedly died of oxidul (N20) gas.
