There are several factors. The first is fear of not losing with a direct rival. The second is the quality of players. Third, their current state. Then there are fields, harmony on the team, psychological conditions, etc.... So there are many factors. Save Panucci and any other trainer in criticism, and think about these factors when talking about setting up a team.

No, I didn't say that. I think we should be a little more patient with Panucci. Of course, I understand the logic of the fan, or the media that when things don't go, then the coach has the responsibility first. I agree with that, but don't ask them to do Spain.

Why is it too much to ask that we dominate Macedonia?

Okay, with Macedonia we have to play minimum as equals. That's where I agree. Albania now has the clothing of a team that went to Europeans, has players with a good age average and playing in important clubs. It is certainly our duty to be dignified but also to produce beautiful soccer.

You say great football, but we've been doing “the role of fantasy... We have no actual number 10. Why?

Because when De Biazi arrived, he did his best with what was available. Seeing potential and characteristics thought that, by playing in defense and using counterattack, Albania could be more efficient. Time gave him the right, after we went to Europeans. Yes, we went to Europeans, shooting only once at Portugal, protecting ourselves with Denmark, but we did it. Are Albanians more satisfied with this style of play?

Apparently not. Because they will rightly demand more than what has been done in the past. But we have to split things up: against Spain, we'll protect ourselves from having no other choice. Against Macedonia and similar teams, we have to play to win, not relying solely on defence. Fortunately, we have Mavra, Hysa, Ajet and Agoll, but they will not always bring us to light.

Okay, but who can do the “Skela” in this National?

It's not a matter of an individual. I really liked Panucci when he declared after the match that he would seek new players, mostly attackers. If you want to change something on the team, you need other players in the roles we want to improve.

How did you like his behavior with the Cycles?

At first, I tried to be honest. I thought he was very tough, while the boy (Cicalles) was looking forward to a good contract. But age asks us to be cautious and to listen to the next version and, frankly, when the coach cleared up at the conference after the plane match, he left at 8: 00 a.m. and he called at 09: 00 p.m. to announce that he couldn't come in time, then naturally he understood the coach.

Would you be happy if Panucci continues on De Biazi's route, so he will be successful in protecting himself most...?

Well, I love a saying by Johann Kruyf: The triumphs with ugly football are boring, and beautiful football without trophy is of no value. You need a balance between the two. The coach gave the signals he'd change something in the attack. We have to wait.

Former coach Astrit Hafizi again was critical of the way our national lion wants to win a match, for according to him there is no clear philosophy. What do you think?

I hear Hafizi, and most of the things I agree with him. But sometimes I also agree with Vinnie when I point out the quality. So we may ask to be as good as possible, but we also need to count our quality.

Why are you so distant?

I'm not distant from football, but I'm very active. I train a team of young people who are part of the Entraht Frankfurt club. I'm already the scout of this club mostly for U-16s. I'm really busy.

No, I didn't get any offers. This is a topic I don't think is time to discuss right now. For now, I just want to focus on my daily work.

When can we see you coach at high levels?

I don't know. All I know is that in the future I'm gonna be coaching. I'm actually doing it already and I'm gonna try to keep it going. October 1st begins in Albania course “U n EFA PRO”

Did you suffer when you quit playing soccer?
