Local Election Campaign Begins

Political subjects today officially launch a month-long campaign for local elections, which will be held on October 22nd.

The Central Election Commission has certified 91 political subjects -- out of them 1 coalition, 35 political parties, 30 civic initiatives and 25 independent candidates for mayors or for Communist countries -- in various municipalities.

And as the CEC continues with preparations, election monitoring will also make the EU mission, and Kosovo's non-governmental organisations.
