The Lipjan municipality has clarified the accusations of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) about financial assistance President Imri Ahmeti had offered to former Miss Kosovo, Kaltrin Neziri, through a decision made in 2014.
According to the announcement issued today by the Lipjan municipality, Chairman Ahmeti had offered financial assistance to the 800-euro former Misses, who is resident of the Lipjan municipality. The municipality led by Imri Ahmeti says the money had been donated to Kaltrin Neziri to help financially travel abroad.
But the municipality said it didn't know where that money went.
We, in order to help them cover travel expenses, at its request, have helped them with 800 dollars from the Culture Directorate budget. Then, the matter of spending these tools is the person's case in question”, says the Lipjan Community response.
The municipality has said that “for us as Directors has been unacceptable to accumulate tools in Lipjan's businesses to take off the Caltrine travel expenses, so the Directorate has seen reasonable that a citizen who would represent our country in the Philippines”.
