The extremist group, the Islamic State, has broadcast what it says is a recording of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's audio.
A speaker who looks like I leader The SIS appears to refer to recent North Korean threats against Japan and the US.
He also talks about battles on I's betting SIS like Mosul, who was regained by Iraqi forces.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdad for whose head a $25m reward has been set up has not been seen in public since July 2014, which has cast doubt on his fate.
