The Department of Criminals at the Founding Prosecutor's Office in Pristina on August 30th dismissed investigations into abuse of duty to officials of former senior Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK), Nahit Shark, Behxhet Halit and Ilir Islami.
At the time they were suspected, Behxhet Haliti had resigned from the position of ATK director, while Nahit Sharku was a keeper of the task.
According to the prosecution's announcement provided by KALLXO.com, the investigation into former ATK senior officials has been fired by prosecutor Duline Hamiti, because after their development it has been found that “there is no doubt that high-ranking defendants have carried out the previously mentioned criminal work against the use of office]”.
Contacted by KALLXO.com, Nahit Sharku, former commander of the ATK director, said the investigations against him have fired for Rusty “Dajti”.
“Rasti '%Dajtiʹ that I have explained in the show (Live Commission in Kosovo) and you have documents on file”, Sharku said.
The Life Commission in Kosovo in December of last year published three editions of the investigation into organised tax theft through extinguishing companies after caller Murat Mehmeti, a tax inspector, had decided to denounce the violations of the institution.
In these Shark emissions, it had been explained that in Rusty “Dajti” was about a business with which ATK had failed to collect the debt of millions from the tax.
