Three contestive countries -- Turkey, Iran and Russia -- recently agreed to create de-scaling areas in Syria and to deploy observers to monitor the ceasefire between Bashar al-Assad's regime and opposition groups.
Idlieb, a town in northern Syria that is under the control of jihadist terrorist groups since early this summer, is also part of these areas, and the three countries are also expected to place observers in this country.
A Russian official earlier had said that each of the three countries would send 500 troops to the de-scaling areas.
Technical talks on the modalisation of these deployments are still under way.
