Following the 7.1-strong earthquake in Mexico City, one of the most desperate rescue team efforts was in an elementary and high school.
Part of the three-story school has collapsed, leaving at least 21 children and four adults dead.
President Peña Nieto said extensively that more than 20 children were found dead at school in the southern district of Coapa. He also added that 30 students of this school were still missing, reports “Reuters”.
The Federal Department of Education announced on Tuesday that 25 troops had been found in the ruins of the school while working on finding other troops or crops following the deadliest quake since 1985.
The quake fell near the town of Puebla of Raboso, about 75 miles southeast of Mexico City, and has so far caused 248 casualties.
