According to these studies, there has been an increase in the number of older people who have been sent to the hospital because of changing temperatures and air pressure.
Experts say elderly people with heart problems should avoid exposure to fog and cold during the winter season, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
Results published in “magazine Environment International” shows an increase in the risk of hospitals or deaths between October and April, compared to the May-September period.
Professor Pierre Gossel of Laval University in Canada says that doctors very little take into account the weather factor in treatment or giving recommendations for heart disease.

Scientists estimate that 112,793 people aged 65 or older have been diagnosed with heart failure between 2001 and 2011.
