She added that a more tolerant society is being built step by step.
We have a very loud minority, aggressive minorities of people who are against it, but I think most people in Serbia do what they made them feel alive”, she told AFP.
The Serbian prime minister has also encouraged young people to understand gay lives.
“I am proud of living in a country whose president has said that: I don't care if he's gay, or else, for me it's important what you're capable of, ”, added Brnabyq.
Asked whether she would like the same sex partnership law to be adopted, Brnabiq has replied that she cannot currently express her personal opinion about it because it represents the Serbian government.
She said she will discuss this with the ministers and civil society groups what needs to be done.
I'm a very pragmatic person, going step by step, so we're going to build a more tolerant” society has added Brnabiq.
