1. Fight in New York
On Thursday, Erdogan was giving a speech at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York where he was received a reception in his honor. One of the protesters in public stood up and shouted: “You're a terrorist, get out of my country”. The dispute broke out with Erdogan's bodyguards and some people present at the meeting.

2. War outside Turkish Embassy in Washington
In May 2017, Erdogan's bodyguards violently attacked a group of protesters outside the Turkish Embassy in Washington. Police described the incident as a “brutal attack”. Eleven people were injured, including a police officer.

3. Attack on Protesters in Washington
This previous incident was not the first time Erdogan's security has been involved in a row in Washington.
In March 2016, Erdogan gave a talk at the Brookings Institute. Erdogan's bodyguards, meanwhile, attacked peaceful protesters abroad, including several Turkish journalists.
4. Fighting in Ecuador
In Ecuador in February 2016, Turkish security forces attacked a group of pro-Kurdish protesters and those supporting them.
Some people were injured, including a member of the Ecuador National Assembly.
5. Incident in United Nations
In 2011, Erdogan visited New York to attend the UN General Assembly session and his bodyguards launched a war with UN security personnel. A United Nations guard was injured and sent to the hospital after the incident./Periscopi/
