Despite statements recently made by PDK officials, that they have numbers to vote on the Speaker of the Parliament, PDK headship member Xhavit Haliti, has declared they do not have the numbers, as if they had attended the Kosovo Assembly Constituent session.
Haliti in an interview, said he's still unknown PAN, will participate in Monday's session, until it has added that the coalition country's interest with the LDK.
There's a situation, I don't know exactly what can happen tomorrow, what the moon can bring, what the week we're entering, maybe 61 votes. Somebody can come through here. We expect to be certain in the election of our candidates, both for parliament and for the government... If we had all the votes, we would enter the session to elect the Speaker of the Parliament and set the session to elect the prime minister, respectively. We've had an agreement on the information I have and the work has moved on, someone's withdrawn from the deal and now we're working on a new deal and we're standing up to it. I have no information on who you're talking to because I'm in charge and I'm part of the group that holds coalition talks”, he said.
As for the Monday session, called by the leader, Adam Miulov, without any consultation he asked for. The PDK, Haliti says it has not yet decided whether they will participate, but stresses that it is the leader's right to call the hearings.
“I can't say that he has the right to call the session, he has the right to call the session, but I believe that this table would have to be led to a joint agreement of parliamentary groups, respectively, or at the end of the day, could have resulted in a joint meeting of political party leaders, which would have found a solution necessarily. Right now I can't say whether we're going to participate, because it's a party leadership issue, it's a party organ issue, which is based on the information they have on Monday, we're probably going to make a natural and necessary decision to participate or not participate. If there are conditions which are evident by the GP winners of these elections, then surely we will participate, but if no conditions have been met, which have been on the negotiating table, and if the leadership of the session itself has invited and agreed, now tells me that the súka with the constatory gathering will make the decision, the PDK's head,<1>, he said.
While dismissing the 2014 Constitutional Court's decision as unfair, the leader is the only person to lead parliament, excluding old headship.
Haliti says Kosovo its institutions can be quick, but that political interests and parliamentary groups for the time being are positioned against each other and that it is difficult to give a real assessment.
He added that it is in the interest of the coalition country with the LDK, which, according to him, is interested in dragging this process up until after local elections, when and when this party can change and take a stand.
Haliti stresses only candidate The PDK for chairman of the Assembly remains Kadri Wessel. While other parties' opposition to voting it, they see it as an attempt to take advantage in time.
