They say this is the clear indicator of climate change, which people are causing, transmits Kosovas.
Climate phenomenon El Niño changes the weather worldwide and had great impact on last year's climate conditions, says today's report published by the National Ocean Administration and the U.S. atmosphere (NOAA).
The report says that last year was the warmest in history, and the weather at a global level was extremely extreme, characterized by high temperatures.
Scientists say last year one eighth of the earth had faced severe droughts and could be considered the worst year on this issue, the report said.
High temperatures have hit almost all states, especially India, and intense heat has caused heavy fires in the mountains of Canada.
Experts say the sea level has risen for the sixth year in a row for three to four millimeters.
In 2016 it was recorded at 93 tropical Cyclones worldwide, 13 percent more than normal, including the hurricane in Haiti, in which about 1,000 people died.
The ice surface in Greenland lost 341 billion tons of ice last year.
