The story of two twin sisters from Patosti-Fier is so special and unexpected. They are children of immigrant parents who began their adventure to the British State with borrowed money and a very unexpected street. We promised them plane travel, but they ended up crying over a truck.

It was 1999. Staying in Fier had become impossible. My parents decided to emigrate. But where? So much time was said about England, which was one of the potential supporters of the war in Kosovo. Prime Minister Tony Blair himself had indicated that “should correct the history in European relations with the Albanian nation. ”

... And the Zalli decided to leave for England. Groups of “bisnesh” of traffic had created the long chain that started from Albania and passed through the states of Europe, extended to distant England. They needed money. Most of the Zalli family was forced to borrow. They promised to go to London very quickly by plane, but then they ended up upstairs in an illegal truck. After a eight - day, eight - night bush trip, they arrived.

- When I remember that trip, my body trembles, the Sea is expressed in a story about the Sun newspaper.
She and her twin sister, Argita, were 11 - year - old children, and the difficult journey in a wind - filled car was a painful adventure, but it was worse. Hundreds of thousands of families had traveled under more difficult conditions, not a few lost their lives.

ENGLEZE FRIENDS AND CHALLENGES OF SCHOOL

The Zalli family just arrived at the town ofport Folkestone in southern England, was sent to the police station, where they faced questions from the immigration officer. After the interview, full of questions about why and where they had come from, after completing the forms, the family was equipped with a month - long concentration. They put them in a refugee hotel. A day later, the family appeared at “offices The Social Services”, where all four members were registered and granted assistance of about $1170 a week. This amount required the four - person family to feed. The sea recalls that the English people were hospitable, gentle citizens, especially adults.

Each question was answered and even accompanied to solve problems. Of course, there were those who were content with a “I'm sorry”! The six - month stay in the hotel where they were placed, the Sea, remembers it as a time of mist. Residents of that hotel, several Albanian families, but many Roma in Slovakia and Romania, who drank alcohool every evening and fought each other, remain in her memory. But the next day, if nothing had happened, you would see them together again.

Parents, like most adult Albanians, initially experienced numerous difficulties, especially because of their lack of English. They needed to accompany them when they had to go to the offices or for medical visits. The sea and Argita willingly played the role of translators, not only for their parents, but for many Albanian families.

The sea and Argita were focused on school. They were interested from the beginning, but the social worker told them that they should wait a year because the recordings for that school year were the head. The twin sisters were very upset. No less and my parents - all of this sacrificial adventure had been undertaken for them.

I couldn't imagine myself a year out of school, says the Sea, remembering that difficult start.
The lady's concern was noticed by the owner of the hotel, a middle - aged Spaniard with whom the girls communicated Italian. At his recommendation, he presented himself after the first week at a public school. The school tested them for English knowledge, mathematics, biology, and physics. When they passed the test successfully, joy was extraordinary. They were going to school!

In October they started school. From the outset, both sisters were enlightened, but not everything went into oil.
There were moments, the Sea recalls, when both sisters were on the verge of giving up”, dropout. The reason was that from the beginning they faced the racism of English peers. They became group-groups and tried to make fun of them by calling out to the Slovak Cor””, Roma... or other epithets. They looked at the sisters in their school uniform, just as they had bought them at the store, ready and they had their clothes sewn up, and they played them again. When they were in line for lunch at school, they stepped forward and left them last, and no one punished them. They used to swear, and they often had letters made or other items. They were not rarely offended. What could they do? Who were they complaining to? If they complained, the attacks would be more vicious. Everything was stressful.

I don't deny it. We confess the Sea, along with my sister, we've been crying from this kind of racism. We would wipe our tears to avoid giving in to them while we would not dare tell our parents not to add to their concerns that they had enough.
Instead of withdrawing from school, they made a decision, breaking the nose of racists with excellence in school.

Teachers were different. They were respected for their high scores. The school principal took them as an example in front of the entire school, publicly commending them. This kept their souls warm. After completing public school, having provided very high results, they gave themselves the right to compete in one of England's best schools at “Grammar School”. They competed and were selected as winners. Going to this school, marked for culture, level, commitment, order, discipline, teaching, served as a safe door to the future. Everything was like night to day compared to previous public school.

MAKING IN UNIVERSITY

Studies in “Gramarmar School” were completed once again. The university was to be chosen after them. But there was also a major obstacle for the twin sisters who were looking forward to it. The obstacle was that school study required a permit. The family had not yet received status. It was September that the girls were still not at ease that permission had arrived and that conditions could not be applied to the Universities. What would they do? When the minimum time left to apply, they filled out applications for Brighton's Susex University and the response came positive.

They were accepted. Studies started, but they still sat on thorns, had not submitted status. Two weeks later, they asked them for permission to live in England, or they had to pay 10, 500 Padd a year each. Where to find the Zalli family. thousand pounds for both girls? Once again, fate did not leave them in the mud. An amnesty of the English government for all family members who had children up to 18 years of age came at the same time.

But it would take time to withdraw from the official immigration offices. But yet fate did not leave them in the mud: A kindly social Service employee was found who was very hard to write down confirming at Home Office that the Zalli family had won the permit. The document was handed over to the university authorities. I was overcome and another extremely difficult situation. Others depended on them themselves. Sussex University was completed with excellent results by leaving the door open for a doctorate.

FROM STTOSCOP OF TAK CHILDREN MOLEK CENTURY

The sea, at first, attracted a childhood dream. Both sisters in childhood dreamed of becoming doctors. My parents even bought their stethoscopes and those “seribly” visited their peers in the neighborhood. This old dream accompanied them even when they chose the subjects they would study in”Grammar School”. They chose medicine. So the two fed the childhood dream. The sea tells me that it had set its sights on Molycular Medicine, which was a branch of medical knowledge that allowed, of course, after completing it, to make other choices.

The options were different; you could continue for medical attention, continue studying various diseases, or you could do scientific research. That's why the Sea went to Molycular Medicine. The sea tells me that the high results reached at Sussex University had given two sisters the privilege of choosing. But the two twins were in a dilemma about the choice. That's how they came together.

It was very difficult for them to decide. Many of the medical professors asked, met and discussed with doctors. Eventually both decided to devote themselves to the doctorate, but with various objects. In her confession the Sea stops humanly, which helped two sisters make the decision: - Being very sensitive characters in the face of human suffering, dealing with disease, we made the decision to make our modest contribution to easing human suffering and healing.

The sea decided to continue its doctorate with the discovery of cancer-related science news like gangrene of today's human society. Her sister, Argita, chose infectious disease as a branch of Immunology. With this facility, Argita started her Ph.D. and she successfully finished it at the University of Birmingham. Today she is in London, where she is continuing post-doctorate scientific research in the field of Immunology in one of the prestigious English Universities, at University College London(UCL). Its post-doctorate has focused on the field of Immunology, which is responsible for infectious diseases as well as serious diseases, such as cancer or cardio-vascular diseases. She's working with a very popular English scientist and she's working with Harvard University.

After deciding on the doctorate object, the Sea asked which of the universities would enable the doctorate. He competed and won his place at a prestigious university in England at Leicester University. She worked there with one of the famous British Professor Frequents. He won this opportunity after a tough competition. It was selected to study about a protein called”Nek8”, mutations of which, as made known, cause “breast cancer” and “Pycystic kidney design”, a kidney disease characterized by enlarged kidneys, which leads to kidney failure.

The Sea project consisted of finding out how this protein functioned in relation to other proteins, finding molecular paths, and ways to prevent the noncommunication of this protein with other proteins. She became passionate about scientific work and concluded a year earlier than her colleagues. In one of the popular English scientific newspapers, she published an important scientific find.

The question of how the Sea feels about confronting mankind's cancer gave her this answer: It is a dangerous disease that disturbs science and mankind. Of course, much progress has been made with the hard work of scientists in discovering the drugs that fight it, and in many cases they heal the disease. There's still so much to do. I can say that the latest discovery was made with a diet...

There are many other discoveries, but it's hard to explain to the common people in a scripture like this. One of the most recent is the discovery of a diet called “Ketone diet” that consists of eliminating excess glucose in the body, as it is one of the factors that caused cancer to develop. The day the cancer will heal completely is not distant. Also of great importance is the cooperation of people with medicine to control and capture in time this disease, which means undisputed and fast recovery.

GIVEING FROM UNIVERSITY HARVARDIA

How did you get to Harvard, I ask. The sea explains to me that applying to Harvard University started as a game: Hayt, I'm trying! It was more of a challenge to yourself. It's just, she says, I wanted to know my limits. I wrote to the university and I sent the CV to my own. Who wouldn't dream of going to one of the best universities in the world? Fortunately, my résumé caught the attention of Professor Roland Baron, one of the best scientists in the world. He asked me for a preliminary interview with Skype. The interview lasted an hour.

The professor made it clear that the race was strong and the number of competitors from around the world. The sea was the first chosen contestant for the interview. The interview went great. Professor Baron then invited her to Boston, where she would present her scientific work, which she had performed earlier in the first lab. In addition, the purpose of the trip to Boston had a second reason, the young scientist would be interviewed by a commission of eight other scientists.

It all went well. He calmly introduced his scientific work and observed the reaction of the eighth grade of scientists.
- I remember, now says the Sea- I just finished presenting scientific work, Professor Baron was watching other scientists with a meaningful smile. In the logic of the Sea, that smile was taken as a sign of victory: -See how nice he presented it? After a hard day of interviews, the professor invites him to the office and says: "The work is yours. I want you to postdoctorate my lab!
The girl was a little surprised at this answer because she had not expected the battle to be won so quickly. According to the procedure, the responses were returned in a week.

Joy was beyond bounds. They had won the challenge by themselves, but not everything was over. The sea did not give that day its “Po. There was another obstacle. The family lived in England, and being very close to the twin sister Argita found it difficult to decide. The professor told him that he had a week to accept the offer. He talked to his family, especially to Argita. They urged him to start immediately. And he did.

In September, the young scientist will begin to experience another field, that of the professor. He likes teaching. It will give medical students “Face Anatomy Development and Genetics”. The sea then reveals yet another passion of it, that of taking politics: - It may seem paradoxical, but another area I like is politics... Let's see how the eels are going to flow, tell 26-year-old scientist.

There is another passion of the sea, which is common to two twin sisters; Literature. Coauthored by the two sisters published the book” It was the story of a girl they knew who was kidnapped to force her to practice the “prositium” in Italy. Actually, the book doesn't just focus on the story of that unfortunate girl. The first novel encouraged sisters to write the second novel” Good Morning Hope”,” Good morning Hope” Finally I asked the Sea for a message for young people in a relationship with science.

Sea response: Doing science is beautiful, sexy, and, above all, intellectually challenging. Many people may feel that mankind's most challenging diseases cannot be healed even many of whom avoid a career in science.

My experience, however small, has shown that if a scientist is very passionate about science, there's a good idea that even follows that idea, believing in him, working with him, devoted to him completely, he can make a big difference. This is the message I want to give new students around the world. I think that's true in every field. Not just science. If you want to make a difference, one difference, you have to have passion. Passion, commitment, and the job, I believe, are three weapons that challenge everything and make “unable to create” /Frier.al/
