An Albanian citizen has been killed in London while riding his bicycle to work. He is Ardian Zagan, Albanian national, who suffered fatal injuries when he was hit by a Ford Transit truck after 6am yesterday.
These are the first images from the accident where the Albanian deceased was named as an extraordinary” member of the college staff where he started work.
The passenger in the van had tried to help Zigan, but was declared dead at the scene of Camden Road, Holloway, a few minutes later. He is the sixth biker to be killed on the streets of the capital this year.
Zagan, was about 30 years old, was killed traveling his first day of work at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London in Tottenham, where he worked as caretaker.
Andy Forbes, director of college, said: “Ardian was a member of our custody staff who had been with us for about a year at the Tottenham Center. He was a very popular colleague who was bright, cheerful and hardworking”.
