Tottenham is aiming for Genoa attacker Giovanni Simeonen son of the coach of Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeones.
The 22-year-old Argentinean scored 12 goals for his team in last season and currently, he is a target for a large number of clubs in Europe.
In addition to the Spillas, the Crystal Palace team and those of Serie A, such as Turin and Fiorentina, are said to be interested in the youth attacker's services.
Simeone joined Genoa from the Argentine club River Plate in a threem-euro deal last summer.
