At the Vetevendosje Movement conference, Headship member Xhelal Svecla has said the PDK fears debates with Vetevendosje Movement.
He has also cited the public invitation for VV candidate debate for prime minister Albin Kurti, made former PDK head Hashim Thaci in 2014.
Svecla says PDK officials also fear debates with Glauk Konjuca, Periscopi reports.
“Albin Kurti in the 2014 campaign has invited Hashim Thaci for debate and has also been ready for debate with the PAN candidate. Kadri Wessel has never agreed to debate with LVV Chairman Visar Ymer, while when Glauk Konjufca participates in a debate they immediately cancel participation”, he stressed.
Svechla has praised Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti's figure.
“And nobody can hide the success of the municipality as they are: Radical transparency, improvement of quality in family medicine centres, halting construction without permission, order in administration, sharing of social residences, buses, and more and more”, he said.
While, in terms of the PDK's accusations on the rule of Shpend Ahmeti in Pristina, Svecla says it is already clear who the righteous manipulator in the society is.
“We have no respect nor understanding of this dirty PDK war, but we do understand. A party that has confirmed its opposition on June 11th, while within months it risks the next decline, which could go into extinction, is able to do anything to return to power. And that, for the sake of riches, and many of them also of freedom. Kosovo citizens know that. Clearly, who is the manipulator who is righteous in this society. The other reason, perhaps even more telling why they react is that they are trying to cause an institutional blockade. They don't have the votes for the top parliament, and we and the citizens of Kosovo are waiting for them to propose the name they deserve. We're also going into session for this”, he stressed. /Periscopi/
