Media in Turkey have reported that the law enforcement authorities have detained a suspect, allegedly the militant of the extremist group, the Islamic State, claiming the same has planned a fearful attack, a United States air base, on Incirlik.
The reports, quoted anomim officials as saying that the Russian citizen, identified as Ruslan Bakiyev, was detained in the city of Adana, while he was using “learning” in an area near the Incirlik Air Base.
It has also been said that Bakeyev, has also been suspected of organising the previous attack.
Turkey is a member of NATO and the American Air Force, use their base in Incirlik, within the framework of the anti-Islamic State campaign in Syria and Iraq.
Russia's embassy in Ankara has said it is following the situation.
