The Vetevendosje movement so far has made public the names of candidates for mayors in several municipalities, where incumbent Shpend Ahmeti has nominated for a four-year term for Pristina municipality. And for the municipality of Gjilan candidate from this party is Sami Kurteshi, for Lipjanin Retkoceri, for Istog municipality Agron Avdij, for Theranda municipality Leonard Shala, for the municipality of Salih Salih Salihu, the Pesh Union, Sali Zabby for Theranda, Shemsi Elezi for Drenas, Mytaher Haska for the municipality of Prizren, and for the Poduja municipality will be the Potters.

She has said the Democratic Party of Kosovo will again compete with the best platform for winning municipalities where they are in opposition.
This party has not made public the candidate name for the capital, where until four years ago the capital has been the bastion of the Democratic League of Kosovo. Among the names talked about potential candidates for the capital are Vjosa Osmani, Lumir Abdixhiku, but also former Pristina chairman Ismet Beqiri, until he has yet to publish the candidate for Prizren.
In turn, the Initiative for Kosovo so far has made public the name of candidate for the city of Prizren, which is Zafir Berisha and Gjakova's, Fazli Hoxha.
The member of the headship of this party, Valdete Bajrami, for Kosova Preris, has indicated that they are close to finalising the lists for mayors and for Asamblist.
The initiative for Kosovo participates for the first time as a party in local elections, but according to Bajrami, it is good for Kosovo citizens, as they are being offered a new spirit.
She said most parties are running with the same candidates and that citizens are tired of those mayors, while the initiative is the option which would have to be seen as salvation for citizens at the local level.
And this party aims to have sub-governments without a run-off Drenasin, Prizren, Lipjanin, Kacanik, Shqimen, but not exempting other Kosovo cities as well.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo days ago made public the name of the candidate for head of Pristina, Arber Vladhiu, for the municipality of Obilic, incumbent Xhafer Gashi, while for mayor of the Decani municipality has been named after Daut Haradinaj.
