Police reject Islamic Community Representatives' request for Friday forgiveness at Ibër Bridge

The citizens who had come to forgive here today expressed indignation about not realizing their purpose. Isaac Abraham, one of those who came to pray on the bridge today, said, "There is no stopping the people from entering the mosques, be they churches or mosques.
Even Africa Azem, a fellow temporary worker in Germany, has announced that he was born and raised in the northern part of Mitrovica. According to him, he and his two sons manifested a desire to be forgiven in the north today but failed.
While, Izet Feka, the secretary of the Islamic Community in Mitrovica, voiced confidence that police in the north will look into their request more seriously in the future and will consider the thought, the will, as well as the need for xymat forgiveness of the jungle at this location. He has suggested that this problem is more political than is being guided in terms of security.
On the other hand, Besim Hoti, deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the north region, has clarified that police never and in no circumstances are opposed to performing any community religious rituals. However, he added, it is very important for police to perform these rituals, to take place in the safest way for citizens and not to have incidents.
