Kicking kids when they make mistakes can make those teenagers aggressive.
A new scientific research has shown that babies beaten by parents are more likely to be aggressive after the age of 10. Such children are also more likely to be unkind to others.
University of Missouri scientists analyzed 1840 mother-child couples, and data was taken through surveys, home visits and teacher interviews.
The head of the study, Professor Gustavo Carlo, says: Our “results show that the way parents treat their children at an early age affects their behavior when they grow up. It is very important for parents to give up physical punishment”.
