PAN requests 24 August session

Representative PANTUS Enver Hoxhaj at a consultative meeting with political parties where all parties apart from Vetevendosje are participating, has demanded that the constitutional session of the Assembly, in which he said PAN would also participate, be held next week on August 24th.

I think there are no blockades in the process of forming institutions. Blockada had other forms I don't want to mention. In this regard, they have taken a lot of time in consultation with representatives of AAKA and NISMA's. We think that the next session in which our coalition will take part in, where we're going with the candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament and that candidate is Mr. Kadri Wessel. The next session should be held next week, August 24,”, Hoxhaj said, broadcasting Periscopi.

He has said PANU has so far taken time to harmonise the governing programme with coalition parties.

We think that the dignity of the Kosovo Assembly should be maintained and that whenever you enter that hall the Constitution and laws in the country should be respected.

The elections have not been only about forming the Government and the Rep decision or about how a new Parliament and Government should address some topics that have remained unsolved and some challenges facing Kosovo.

It means the idea of early elections has not only been the change of a governing formula, but also the expense of a governing programme, we as a coalition have taken time to include all priorities Kosovo has”, Hoxhaj said. /Periscopi/
