A 12-year-old girl has lost her life and 13 people have been hurt when a person came in with an automobile last night inside a pizza in eastern Paris.
Prosecutor Dominique Laurent has said that the first elements show no terrorist attack.
The “seems to be about a person with serious psychiatric problems, who had received an amount of” drugs, he said.
The driver of the car has told the police that he has taken a large quantity of drugs, and on the basis of his testimony, the motive for this attack is still unknown.
The prosecution earlier announced that it is a deliberate act, but that it is not related to terrorism.
Otherwise, last night's attack comes after Algerian Amu Banletesh (36) on August 9th by automobile entered among soldiers in the vicinity of Paris and injured six of them.
This attack had taken place four days after the attempted attack on soldiers near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
France has decided in 2015 on the state of emergency, following several terrorist attacks that killed 239 people.
