Outgoing Prime Minister Isa Mustafa will be present on September 26th in Beijing, at the Interpol Assembly, where, in the order of the day, it is before Kosovo's accession to Interpol.
“We are in the process of harmonising tasks. Membership does not depend on us, depends on other Interpol members. Several members of those states that have not recognised Kosovo are also on the Interpol Executive Committee. We should be optimistic and work together so that the final decision will be a decision in our support”, Mustafa said today at the Government meeting.
While incumbent Minister of Internal Affairs Skender Hyseni said that besides Kosovo there are 2 other states that have applied for membership. According to him, 2/3 of the votes are needed to become part of Interpol.
There are 3 applicant countries for Interpol membership. The admission takes place by 2/3 of the turnout votes present. They made us optimistic that Interpol's executive committee was made up of 50/50 countries that know us, and that countries they know have unanimously decided to put into the agenda, the Kosovo app”, Hyseni said. /Cashho. com
