The coalition between the LDK and the Vetevendosje Movement is seen possible by analysts if the two subjects respect the citizen's will for change.

One of the common points these two parties would lead to a final product is the country's governance leaving part of the opposition PAN.

Visare Gorani, political analyst, told KALLXO.com that talks on the possibility of creating the LDK-LVV coalition are basically oriented towards resolving the problem.

According to her, the positive side of these talks is the highest level of transparency, where the public already knows that the parties are negotiating.

These talks are likely not easy, but are still being negotiated. From the experience we have had so far, we have learned that governments and coalitions can be made and broken overnight, where there was no question of principles and programs. Our experience with roadblocks and instigation governments and at all costs, but without principles, we have not been left entirely by the Witnesses, Gorani said.

According to her, political talks may be embarrassing but also healthy for democracy in our country.

“Dialog as an instrument for identification and resolution of problems is always welcome and is the best indicator of the parliamentary spirit. Demarkation, dialogue with Serbia, as well as transformation of the KSF are superparty issues and, therefore, talks on these issues should reflect this”, she said.

According to Goran, entry into these talks, given that on several issues the sides' positions differ diametrically, shows the rise in political awareness.

She estimates that the point that unites these two subjects should be to respect the will of voters since the June 22nd elections voted for changes.

Meanwhile, Rasim Alija from D4D told KALLXO.com that one of the common points that these two parties would lead to a final product, which would result in an agreement between them, is the country's governance leaving a part of the PAN in opposition.

The “All efforts of LVV and LDK for a possible coalition will depend on the sacrifices they would have to make in the merger on a governing platform of their positions and programmes, as well as the leading roles in a possible government. Each other version would result in failure of any kind of meeting or initiative to govern together”, Alija said.

Even Alija thinks there are two problematic points, dialogue with Serbia, and the economic development programme that must be harmonised to produce a possible coalition between LV and LDK.

According to him in LVV and LDK programmes, huge differences are observed in terms of forms and instruments for the country's economic development. The same differences are shared by LVV and LDK according to him, as well as by the way they make dialogue with Serbia.

“Issues such as Demarkation and the Association of Serbian municipalities, KSF and visa liberalisation do not appear to be an insurmountable problem to link a possible coalition”, Alija said.

Alija said that as the other stated problematic topic that needs to be clarified according to LDK from LVV is the file issue, but this seems to be only about external consumption, especially now in the period of local elections.

Otherwise, on 25 August, VV Prime Minister Albin Kurti and LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri have met to discuss a possible co-operation in forming institutions.
