Even after several hearings called for the Kosovo Assembly binding, this has not yet happened.
Coalition The PAN has not yet made the numbers necessary to create institutions and is continuing to boycott the sessions called by the Speaker of the Parliament.
The Civil Society has also responded to these developments.
Through a response, the Civil Society expresses indignation at the pressure MPs are being pressured to change their political stance regarding the formation of institutions.
We think this practice is a violation of the standards of parliamentary democracy. This could turn into a harmful and dangerous premiere in the entire process of building free and democratic society”, it says in response.
According to them, pressures of every kind violate the will of citizens given on election day.
“Pressures and blackmailing methods have elements of criminal acts; violation of voting rights; and pressure in exercising official duty. We appeal to MPs who may be subject to pressure, publicly denounce even the prosecution body. The odds depreciate the democratic order of the Republic. We estimate that the MP's freedom to vote should not be violated and blackmailed under any circumstance”.
The group of citizens who have supported this stance has also called on the State Prosecutor to remain alert to phenomena, which they say seriously endanger the entire constitutional process of state building and representation of the free will of citizens.
We are absolutely against any pressure on the people's elected. We support and defend the integrity of MPs in the country to vote according to their free will by respecting every citizen's vote in the June 11th” elections, it says in response.
