These are the two candidates from AKR's LDK who can enter the race against Shpend Ahmeti for Pristina.

As local elections approach in October, parties have launched efforts to find the best candidates to take the lead in the capital.

So far officially confirmed candidates remain only Shpend Ahmeti from Vetevendosje, Arber Vladhiu from the AAK and Avni Cakmaku from the Word party.

The LDK, the PDK, the AKR and the Initiative have not announced their candidates for Pristina chairman.

However, Periscopi from its sources learns that the current capital chairman, Shpend Ahmeti, could face more serious candidates if AKR can run Behgjet Pacolli and LDK Avdullah Hotin.

As agreed by one source, both Pacolli and Hoti are seriously considering the possibility of running for Pristina, despite the fact that none of the candidates have spoken too much about this race in the media.

As the possible LDK candidate, Ismet Beqiri and Vjosa Osmani have mostly been talked about, however Beqiri is seen as a sure loser to Ahmeti until Osman has expressed the will to enter the race. /Periscopi/
