PDK Headship member Naim Bazaj, who is also chairman of the Drenas Municipal Assembly in a campaign for KALLXO.com, has said he will not support Ramiz Ladrovci's candidacy for mayor of the municipality.
We don't know why. Wessel ran Ludrovci when we barely won the first time in the run-off, even the members of the mayor, mostly not for him, he put it there. We see that the loss is also in Skenderaj as well as in Drenas, as it did at the level of Kosovo, where there was a powerful drop of”, said Basej for KALLXO.com.
But there are many others who will not support him.
I will not personally support Ladrovci and not many members of the leadership support him. We're tired of our voters like this. I think the PDK is going to lose this time because Ladrovci is not wanted either by citizens”, KALLXO.com said among other things.
Asked why he did not prove to be an independent candidate this time, Bazaj says he wants to rest.
He does not rule out the possibility that his group, which opposes Ladrovci's candidacy, will support the Kosovo Initiative's candidacy in Drenas.
We still have decided who to support in this election, but absolutely we will not support the PDK candidate, whatever I have electorates and who listen to me, we do not support him. There are those who will support the Initiative for Kosovo, and I will personally go out another day to show who I'm going to support, but it's not far from what we support the other candidate”, Bazaj said.
He continues to be a member of the PDK's Headship, while he says the coming days will see what happens.
The PDK named them two of its bets Drenas and Skenderaj. But in last year's extraordinary local elections held in Drenas, it was “ditated” for the first time to go to the runoff, as the Initiative for Kosovo had not allowed it to win since the first round.
While in these elections the PDK has not run at all in Skenderaj, on the pretext that it will support its independent candidate for mayor of this municipality, Bekim Jashar, son of hero Hamez Yashari.
