Rafa Marquez can't step up in America anymore, at least for now. This is the decision made by the Foreign Ministry, which has fined and sanctioned 22 Mexican people and 42 companies that have expansion in the US as well because of connections with drug dealer Raul Flores Hernandez.
Among these names is Barcelona's former known protector, who is allegedly used by third persons for drug purposes and money laundering.
Marquez is currently part of Atlas's team in Mexico, but if there is any possible offer from the United States, he cannot be transferred, at least until there is an explanation and the investigation into the matter is completed.
