In 16% of cases, inspectors have identified shortcomings. So one of six subsidized agricultural sectors shows significant shortcomings, reports Albinfo. ch. A total of 7230 farms must be remembered.
According to the Federal Agriculture Office, in 10% of cases we are dealing with serious violations against animal welfare or environmental legislation. For the rest of us, it's only a tweet.
The Swiss Animal Protection Association (SAP) has, in turn, made another survey: it estimates 25% of cases include animal abuse.
