But the worst situation has been with accidents. Due to heavy rainfall, despite the fact that for a while, five accidents were caused in the Elbasan-Qafe road axis, one person thereafter found death, while another 15 were injured among them an 11-year-old in severe condition, which after receiving first aid at the Elbasan Hospital has been transported to Tirana's Trauma Hospital for a more specialized treatment. The accident, which marked another dead man, took place in Qafe-Thana in the village of Uraka, when the car with which the victim was travelling, a Macedonian citizen and four others came out of the street and ended several meters down. Police forces and firefighters went to the scene and are investigating the causes of the serious accident. The next accident occurred in the Perrenja area, just at the place called Pishkash, when two passenger vans crashed into four injuries. The next accident with the highest number of injuries was registered in Xibraca, when three cars crashed between them and scored seven injured. Ambulances and police at the scene arrived a few minutes later, while circulation has been blocked for more than 30 minutes.
Police appeal for care and respect of road rules. From preliminary investigations into accident cases this Tuesday, in addition to rainfall, according to police, another cause has been the speed of movement.
