Macedonia's prime minister, Zoran Zaev, has met German Chancellor Angela Merkel, with whom they have had a bilateral meeting today in Trieste.
The government is determined to make urgent reforms and secure the road to the EU and NATO, and thereby means even better life for citizens. Merkel gave me the competition that Germany will support our country on this journey. ” said Zaev after the meeting, conveys Telegram Macedonia.
Earlier, Zaev has met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, with whom also important issues for the Balkans have been discussed.
There's no strain between us on the state level. There were some internal political strains and a growing, even scandalous rhetoric in Macedonia that I don't want to talk about. It is simple, as much as Macedonia is stronger, more democratic and more successful, the stronger and the better Albania is.
