Turkish resident Bekir Ittegun, who has been sent to an Istanbul detention centre, has been arrested today.
He allegedly backed last July 15th's stamp against Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan.
The 33-year-old footballer has denied all charges, saying at no time has he supported this organisation led by cleric Fetullah Gulen.
The defender has so far had ten presentations with the Turkish national's fan and played for Gaziantexor, Fenerbahce while currently playing Basaxehir.
