The North Bay fired an unidentified ballistic missile in the Eastern Sea from the vicinity of Banghyon, northern Pyonga Provinca, around 9:40,”, the Joint Staff Chiefs said in a statement.
The launch was immediately reported to South Korean President Moon Jae, according to the statement.
The process of downloading tests in recent months comes as the North works to build a nuclear missile that can reach the United States.
It was not immediately clear whether launching missiles was a routine of a short-range missile or an attempt to perfect long-range missiles, writes HINA Fox News.
