Organised crime prosecutor subject to “Sopot” sent to Special Public Prosecutor (PSP).
At the moment from the PSP they have not confirmed whether they have accepted the subject, learns Alsat-M from reliable sources within the Public Prosecutor. Under the PSP law from the moment chief special prosecutor Katica Janeva accepts the case, there are eight days to decide whether to take “Sopotin” in her hands.
In court process for case “Sopot”, 11 residents of the village of the same name were sentenced to a total of 156 years in prison. They were found guilty of placing mines in the village of Sopot in Kumanovo in 2003, where two Polish NATO soldiers and a civilian lost their lives.
The defendants have long waited for the case to pass into Katica Janeva's hands, taking into consideration that wiretaps had been published, just for this case. /AlsatM/
