A year ago, F16 military planes were used to oust him from power in a failed attempt, while yesterday they accompanied Turkish President Rexhep Tayip Erdogan's plane on its journey from the Turkish capital, Ankara towards Istanbul.
The F16 planes looked light out of Erdogan's plane window as he read the speech he gave yesterday in the big rally, commemorating the 1st anniversary of the failed coup in the state.

Erdogan occasionally watched the aircraft and greeted the pilots.
A year ago, on July 15th 2016, F16 warplanes flying down over buildings in Ankara and on Istanbul bridges warned of the fateful night, in which about 250 people were killed and wounded over 2,000 others.
The F16s also bombed the headquarters of the Turkish Parliament as the bombing was dropped even close to the siege of Erdogan's presidential palace in the capital.
Meanwhile, authorities have announced the deployment and no flights for aircraft and helicopters on Istanbul and Ankara. The flight stop went into effect at 3:00 this day and ends at 3:00 tomorrow.
