The European Union seeks to ban French fries, black crust bread, and roasted coffee.
A group of European Commission experts and member states has imposed stricter rules for those serving French fries, potato producers, and bread ovens.
The goal is to avoid cancer as much as possible.
This is because these products have the acryrilamide substance, which causes cancer.
It is primarily formed during the preparation of these foods at high temperatures.
Adjusting Brussels is seven pages long with an annex of 21 pages.
One of the proposals is that anyone frying potatoes should not store them under 6 degrees Celsius.
Before they fry, it's good to cook potatoes.
This reduces the percentage of sugar responsible for forming acrylamide.
Then they have to fry at a temperature of up to 175 degrees Celsius until they have a golden yellow.
The bakers should not let dark crust form.
Coffee doesn't have to mature much either.
Even cereal producers should not prepare them at very high temperatures.
