Putin is allegedly the richest man in the world, but according to the Kremlin, he earns about $14,000 a year and lives in a small apartment.
A former Russian government adviser estimated his fortune is worth $70 billion. Fund manager Hedge Bill Browder, a Putin critic, claimed he had more than $200 billion.
Busines Insider has joined a list of things that Putin is believed to have spent money on.

As president of Russia, Putin's official position is Moscow's Kremlin. However, it spends most of its time in a rural government settlement outside the city called Novo-Ogaryovo.
There are reportedly 20 different palaces and villas. Official data published in 2016 by the Kremlin claims that Putin has a very modest portfolio of real estate. The report said he had a small land estate and an apartment with a garage.

But over the years, Putin has also been linked to other properties. The most controversial is the so-called “The secret laptop”. It was reportedly built for Putin using illegal state funds.
This residence reportedly cost $1 billion to build. There's a private theater and a space landing site for three helicopters.
In 2012, a file was drafted by a political rival of Putin, who claimed Putin owned several private planes, helicopters and yachts.
He is accused of possessing 58 different types of aircraft, including a Dassalul Falcon, which has 19 seats.
One of his planes was said to have an $11 million cabin equipped with only toilets. This plane has a space of up to 186 passengers. Putin is accused of having five.

The files claim Putin has a collection of four yachts, each cost thousands of dollars to maintain. Rosiya, one of his yachts, was renovated in 2005. It is said to have cost $1.2 billion to do. The Graceful”, another yacht, is said to have room for 14 people and six bedrooms.
Putin also likes to boast about his appearance. The 2012 file confirmed that Putin has 11 hours worth about 687,000 dollars.

According to the newspaper “Russia Beyond Headlines” (Russia Beyond Titus) of the Russian government, Putin owns an hour A. Lange & Söhne Tourbograph éur Le Mérité, which costs half a million dollars.
