Jody wasn't on duty, but once he got the news on the radio, he went to the station, immediately handling the case.

After two days of formal adoption and living together in a house, Jody realizes that his wife is pregnant with their third child. But they also adopted John's sister, who was born when her mother was still in prison.
It's a great kid who has a top grade in school and perfect behavior”, the policeman added, to the child he's been in for 10 years now.
