Very little is known about the personal life of Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, who is one of the most powerful people in the world.

Russian journalists who tried to get details out of Putin's life, especially that family, during 2014 have somehow been forced to resign from their jobs, writes Business Insiver, broadcast Periscope.

At least it is known about Putin's former wife, known as Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, who was married to Putin for about 30 years. In 2013 the couple divorced. And in 2016 it has been reported that Putin's former wife has been married for the second time.

Again, she and two girls who are Putin's daughters have decided to stay away from the public eye. The following are some photographs and information from her life with Putin:

1. Before marrying Putin in 1983, Ocheretnaya worked as a stewardess for the Russian airline Aeroflower. She speaks French, German, and Spanish.

2. Putin and Ocheretnaya met in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg in the early 1980s. A mutual friend has informed them.

3. Ocheretnaya and Putin have two daughters, Maria and Catherine, who were born one in 1984 and the other 1985. Very little is known of them, because their parents kept them out of sight. Even during university studies, girls have studied with false names.

4. After leaving work as a KGB officer during the 1980s, Putin and his ex-wife have returned to St Petersburg and Putin began working for the Russian government. Reuters reported that even though his ex-wife had ambition for her career, Putin kept her very far from the public eye.

5. Reuters reported Ocheretnaya has not enjoyed much of her post as the first lady.

6. designer Slava Zaitsev, who for years has designed Ocheretnaya's clothes, told Reuters in 2013 “at the time, the first lady told me that she did not like travel and public performances. She wasn't ready for this role. Being the president's wife has suddenly happened”

7. In 2013, the couple declared their divorce by giving the reason for this “Our marriage is finished because we don't spend time with each other, very rarely see you”
