It was a very common night for Thomas Jay, who went out to dump the trash outside his home in Arizona, U.S.A., when he suddenly felt a bite of the most tormenting <x0 plant” in his life.

He looked at and saw a bug that looked like something “between the scorpion and spider”, he told about Fox News, and within just a few hours, a little bite was transformed into black spots that started covering his entire arm.

Jay moved to many hospitals until he reached a department where doctors found it difficult to diagnose the problem.

For now, a few weeks after the bite, it is stable and waiting for the results of biopsy, reports Azfamyly.com.

Jay and his wife, Dee Petrov, say the care has been excellent, and that they have received a lot of community support and now from the initiative GoundMey (with commentators offering their theories around the mysterious insect).

They've decided to make Jay an object study, and they're starting to raise funds of up to $10,000 to do their research.
