And three quarters of the carts through a series of stores displaced by scientists contained the most harmful type of bacteria, which could include deadly escheriia coli (E. coli) and salmonella.
The horrific discovery was found after testing the treatment of surfaces by four brands of shops -- traditional food stores, budget stores, supermarkets and rich shops.
Budget stores were the largest to come, with their costs found to contain 270 times more germs than a toilet.
Those in larger supermarkets were surprisingly cleaner, but they still had three times the level of bacteria than a kitchen.
Shopcars that were sold proved to be better because they have the same bacteria as computer keyboards.
However, despite being clean in general, nearly 29 percent contained bacil, which usually relates to food poisoning, broadcasts the Klan Kosova.
