Macro's popularity declines by 10 percent

.
If a real political phenomenon is considered in other European countries, in his homeland the French president's popularity has lost 10 percentage points in just one month.
According to a “Ifop” survey published by “Le Journal du Dimanche”, support for Emmanuel Macron dropped from 64 per cent to 54 per cent. This is the second worst showing in the history of French presidents. Worse than he, according to the weekly, was only Jacques Chirac in 1995.
In three months, Macro has lost 8 percent. 62 per cent of the French were enthusiastic about it at the beginning of the mandate, increasing to 64 per cent next month.
Frames implemented by “Iphop” for “Le Journal du Dimanche” analyses each president's popularity by 1958. Macron, of course, is not the only French leader to have experienced a drop in support in the first months of the mandate.
In 1966, Charles de Gaulle dropped by 5 percentage points in 3 months, while Francois Mitterrand experienced a decline in popularity after first selection in 1981, from 54 per cent to 47 per cent.
Even support for Macro's predecessor, Francois Hollande slipped from 61 per cent to 56 per cent in three months.
But the only real comfort for Macro remains Jacques CHirac, who saw the biggest drop in support in French history; after 3 months in office, support for it dropped from 59 per cent to 39 per cent.
