What impact does birth have on the brain after age 35

All women are constantly reminded that <x0or biological time is being passed” to encourage having a child before being considered too late, but now a new study has come to the conclusion that older births actually do some good in a woman's health. The study, which was [...]
The study, published at the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, revealed that having a child later in life can not only increase brain power but also prevent memory loss later in life.
The study has focused 830 women after the period of menopause and tested their verbal memory, executive skills and general knowledge. The study focused on their age during their first pregnancy, the number of pregnancies, and other factors to assess the effect of their age during pregnancy, and their relationship to mental health.
What was noted was that women who had their last pregnancy after age 35 had higher verbal memories and those who had their first pregnancy before 13 years had stronger overall knowledge. The longest reproductive period and the use of oral contraceptives are linked to brain power at a later age in life. Women who have borne their first child at the age of 15 and 24 showed that they have less health in their 40s cognitive skills. ”
High levels of hormones during pregnancy can positively affect brain function, and if you're pregnant later in life, changes in your brain will last longer. However, it is not enough to suggest that women wait until 35 years later to give birth to their first child, because the outcome of this study does not consider the risks that late pregnancy could present”, said study author Dr. Roxana Kerim.
