“Starting Friday and weekend again the Balkan peninsula and our country will be dominated by another heat wave. On Saturday and Sunday, sunny weather will prevail, where temperatures are expected to mark the 30-35-degree values in mountainous areas. As the coastline and lower areas, temperatures will fluctuate from 33-38 degrees Celsius. At the start of next week, it is expected to advance further and further the extent of the Saharan heat, enabling the maximum thermometer column to restep over 40 degrees. Cities that will experience the most heat, with temperatures above 40 degrees, will be Kukesi, Shkodra, Elbasan, Kucova and the southern end of Gjirokastra. In the third week of July, there is projected to be a drop in temperatures”, announced Rezarta Xalcolari, weather editor at Top Channel.
