Experts at Interpol Tirana, in co-operation with those of Interpol Brussels, enabled the extradition from Belgium to Albanian national Levent Bregu, 40, born in Berat.
Citizens Levent Bregu had been declared internationally on the run after the Berat District Court has sentenced him to 17 years, 7 months and 18 days in prison for criminal work, “Vrass conducted in co-operation” and “Producing and possession without permission, fire weapons”, envisioned by articles 76, 25 and 278/2 of Albania's Penal Code of Replica.
The coast was convicted of an event in March 1997 in the village of Veterric, Berat. On the 2703.1997 nationals Levent Bregu, along with his uncle, have shot down M.H. citizen and tried to kill the citizen D.H.
As a result of Interpol co-operation with Interpol Brussels/Belgium, his arrest in Belgium was made possible, finalising with his extradition to Albania.
