The European Union (BE) has today granted the ultimatum to Hungary that, in the month-long term it will change the education law, which in Brussels' opinion is not compatible with Union values, will otherwise face eventual sanctions in court.
European Commission Deputy Chairman Frans Timmermans called on the Hungarian government within 30 days to respond to Brussels' criticism of the new higher education law, which could close the university, whose founder is American billionaire George Soros.
