The price of electricity has increased markedly in June compared to May of this year.
Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published “Harmonyd Consumption Prices” (IHÇK) for June 2017.
And according to these statistics it turns out that the price of electricity has increased for this.
According to the AKS, the price before a month for 1 kWh has been 0.0046 euros, while in June 0.04 euros, the news.net writes.
While, the country's overall harmonised consumer price index is highest for 0.3% in June 2017 compared to May 2017.
The estimated inflation rate in June 2017 with June 2016 was 1.9%.
The overall harmonised consumer price index is higher for 0.3% in June 2017 compared to May 2017. This is largely explained with the rise of consumer prices in the sub-groups of COICOP: trees (5.6%), current, gas and other fuels (17.9%) with a common impact of these sub-groups by 0.9 percent on IHCH.
The hike was largely neutralised by falling consumption prices in subgroups: milk, cheese and eggs (-2.2%), vegetables (-8,2%), using personal transport equipment (-0.6%) with a common impact of these subgroups -0.6 percent on IHCK.
The overall harmonised index of consumer prices is higher by 1.9 percent in June 2017 compared to June 2016 in this period, some changes in the prices of articles and services in groups and subgroups of COICOP are noted.
Consumer prices rise: meat (1.2%), milk, cheese and eggs (1.4%), trees (12.4%), sugar and sweets (6.2%), coffee, tea and cocoa (9.4%), mineral water, non-alcoholic drinks, trees and vegetables (1.3%), tobacco (5.6%), electricity, gas and other fuel (16.3%) .3% (the upgrade of the electricity price for 25,4% compared to the June 2016 summer tariffs), use of personal transportation, (3.8%) the cost of oil recovery, and other fuel emissions (16.3%) to impact the 2.HQ.
