He said the government should be formed as soon as any delay in this direction can cost the country.
Economics expert Fadil Osmani told Radio Kosovo that the current political blockade, which is being expressed at the delay in establishing new institutions, released from the early parliamentary elections on June 11th, has great impact on economic development, especially in the field of foreign investment:“These political blockades, of course, directly affecting economic development and especially on foreign investments in our country. The political blockade in general directly affects foreign investors, who because of the political crisis, hesitate and are skeptical to invest in Kosovo. Therefore, those who deal with macroeconomic policies in our country must devote much importance to political trends, because political trends indirectly affect economic development and foreign investment in the country”.
Meanwhile, economic analyst Jakup Bellaqa shares the same opinion that delaying the formation of the Kosovo government has a negative impact on the country's economic development trends.
“Of course it will affect the economic aspect because Kosovo's economy is still fragile, there is great unemployment, and lack of foreign investments”. Analysts and economic experts already appeal to politicians to overcome all obstacles so that the formation of institutions like the Government and the Kosovo Parliament can become as soon as possible, as only thus can continue with economic development poetry processes. Any delay in this direction could cost the country, they say.
